| Well what can i say that hasn't been on our home page. We here all work hard to insure these horses are very well taken care of, i do believe they found a bit of heaven here. In the near future you will be able to see who we are though photos and whatnot's written from those who dedicate their time, energy and funds to the cause. We are a small army with muck rakes in hand and hay in every pocket that doesn't seem to come out even in the wash. I personally want to thank those who stop by to visit our little site, remember if not ours there must be a rescue near you...support them they can use your help. I would love to see every rescue succeed in their mission, the horses and other animals out there can use our help and its going to take more than us at Golden Hills Ranch. C.C .Hotchkiss Founder/President Golden Hills Ranch Equine Rescue A little about me U.S. Navy retired, work as a firefighter in the Aguanga area for several years until i was injured in an accident. I have over 30 years experience with horses as do all of my board member. I enjoy the finer things in life, like a hot shower and not waking up with hay in my bed. I'm an easy keeper as long as i get my espresso every night. I'm low maintenance give me a pair of jeans, a tshirt and boots and I'm ready for the day. I don't eat much...who has time, just make sure i get my espresso and all is well. I love doing this work, its hard, I'm tired all the time, i hurt from head to toe and who knows where i get the energy from everyday. I am very pleased with those who are attached to this rescue, they are all good people and I am proud to call them my friends, their hard work and dedication makes miracles happen here everyday. |
